Some of our favorite star-crossed lovers (pun intended!) are finally getting hitched with gay marriage becoming legal in the state of New York.
After a three-year engagement and last year’s birth of their son, Cynthia Nixon and Christine Marinoni got married this weekend! The Sex and the City star joins other gay celebrities who are engaged or married to their partners. The couple wanted to wait until same-sex marriage was legal in New York to get married, and they had their wish granted last June! Another celebrity to take advantage of the legalization of gay marriage in New York was Michael Kors, who married his longtime partner Lance LePere last August. Glee creator Ryan Murphy announced his engagement to David Miller back in June last year when he was talking on Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show, saying, “I’m with a great fellow now who I’ve known for 15 years. We just got engaged and I’m very excited about it!”
