Dante Basco is an actor who loves meeting his fans and making his panels memorable
Sac Anime is a convention that happens twice a year in Sacramento, CA. It started small but over the years it has continued to grow in size. The number of attendees and guests naturally have grown as well. On September 2-4 this convention happened again and Dante Basco was one of the guests. He had a panel all three days and each one was amazing. I was lucky to be able to attend one of these panels and here is what I thought about it.
Here is a short Bio on Dante Basco:
Dante Basco is an American actor, voice actor, and dancer. He is known for his role as Rufio in the 1991 live-action film Hook. He is also known for voicing Zuko in the Nickelodeon series Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Jake Long from the Disney series American Dragon: Jake Long.
I was so happy to get to attend his panels. Each one was somehow better than the one before it. There was a story he told from Avatar: The Last Airbender involving him working with Mark Hamill that was both awesome and hilarious. That was what made his panels worth attending all weekend, the stories he told. No matter what his fans asked him he was glad to regal them with memories that were a real joy to hear. You never knew what he was going to say next but it always worth hearing and it was clear to me he treasures his fans. If you want to learn more about Dante Basco check this website out.
