New TV Network, Pivot, Advocates Social Change [Sponsored]

For a refreshing take on television, check out pivot, a brand-new cable network set to launch on August 1 seeking to inspire social change. This new multi-screen venture (which will be available as a live streaming channel via pivot’s interactive, downloadable pivotApp) comes from Participant Media, the studio that created thought-provoking movies such as “Food, Inc.,” “An Inconvenient Truth,” and “Lincoln.” pivot will deliver diverse talent and an entertaining mix of original and acquired programming, including  “HitRECord on TV!,” a crowdsourced variety show from director/creator/star Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and “Raising McCain,” which will follow McCain as she explores current issues affecting young Americans.
