One fan’s humorous take on how the series A Song of Fire and Ice was written.
The television series Game of Thrones has been captivating viewers for just over three years now, and the books have been doing the same since 1996. With the fourth season having wrapped up a few weeks ago fans are chomping at the bit for the next season to premiere. They now have something in common with any fans of the books in the A Song of Fire and Ice series, who have been waiting for the next book since 2011. This massive fan base has seen some wonderful creations out of a love for the world that George R. R. Martin has created, and now one fan has taken it a step further and jumped into the mind of the writer himself.
YouTuber Mr.TvCow, who is known for creating real life adaptations of movies and video games, has used his skills to give us a first person view of how Martin writes his books. The video shows a brief jaunt in the world of Westeros through the eyes of George R. R. Martin where iconic scenes play out; first as drafts and then as the canon events of the series. Yes it is has a few spoilers, but if you’ve been on the internet anytime in the past month you have already been exposed to anything this video might spoil.
