Popular comic convention returns to Sacramento June 19-21.
—
I cannot lie when I say I am excited for this convention coming back to Sacramento in June. I went last year and had non stop fun both days taking photos, meeting celebrities and looking at all of the cool items and memorabilia for sale. It was one of the coolest things I have been to in my entire life, and one that you must not miss out on. It is the perfect place to dress up in your favorite character, and a great place to take the family. Do everything you can to be at this event, it is worth every penny of admission.
This year some big talent will be there like Alfonso Ribeiro who is best known for his portrayal of Carlton from the TV show Fresh Prince of Bel Air, but he also was on Dancing with the Stars a few seasons ago. He will be there on Saturday and Sunday.
Danny Trejo will also be there, a man who is known best recently for the Machete films. He also has been in some of the Spy Kids movies and was in Once Upon a Time in Mexico. He will be there on Saturday and Sunday, and will be someone you will not want to miss a chance to meet.
Dave Bautista the famous WWE wrestler just recently has been added to the list of celebrities at this convention, but who people know better as Drax from the smash summer hit film Guardians of the Galaxy. He will only be there on Saturday with limited times for autographs and photos. Kevin Conroy is also going to be there, a best known for voicing Batman from Batman:The Animated Series all the way up to the games Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. He will be there all three days and is available for autographs but will only be taking photos at his booth.
This year also brings a special treat with a chance for fans to meet two of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers cast members Jason David Frank and David Yost. Jason was the green and then white ranger and David was the blue ranger. I met Jason last year and he is so nice and thankful of all his fans. They will both be there all three days and are definitely guys you will want to take the time to see.
There will also be many more celebrities there as well as some cool props from well known TV shows and movies. In attendance there will also be a few people from Epic Ink and some artists who have worked on many well known comics and TV shows.
This convention brings thousands of people together and this will be the fifth of 24 events scheduled for the Wizard World 2015 calender. There will be celebrity Q and A sessions, comics themed events, film screenings, a costume contest for kids and one for adults, evening parties and more.
The hours for Sacramento will be Friday June 19 3 to 8 pm, Saturday June 20 10 am to 7 pm and Sunday June 21 11 am to 5 pm. There are still plenty of tickets available and there is a good chance more celebrities will be added to this great convention. For more information on this convention visit www.wizardworld.com/home-sacramento.html to purchase your tickets and also if you want to find out information on dates, location and hotel rooms.
But know this, there are plenty of these conventions all over North America. If you are unable to visit Sacramento, this convention is also coming to Las Vegas in April, San Jose in September and Reno in November. Each location has a different set of celebrities and events going on and it really is something people should check out. For information on future locations check out http://www.wizardworld.com / there you will find all the stuff you need and when the next convention is coming to your city.
If you are looking for something to do on a weekend near you, this is the thing that will help make it a memorable one. If you are looking for something for you to do with the family, this convention is something they all will enjoy. There is so much going on that it is hard to get bored or lose interest. Whether you are seeing the celebrities or just want to take photos with everyone in cosplay, it will be a wonderful time for everyone who attends. Check it out, you will truly miss out on so much if you don’t.
