Decoteau J. Irby’s research examines K-12 urban schools, organizational leadership, and the educational experiences of Black males. He is a co-editor of the forthcoming book “Black Participatory Research: Power, Identity, and the Struggle for Justice in Education” (Palgrave-MacMillan). In fall 2015, he will join the faculty in the Department of Educational Policy Studies at University of Illinois at Chicago.
