Jeffrey Deskovic, M.A. is the Executive Director of The Jeffrey Deskovic Foundation for Justice, a non-profit that seeks to exonerate the wrongfully convicted in DNA and non-DNA cases, educate the public, elected officials, and criminal justice professionals on the causes of wrongful conviction and the reforms needed to prevent them, and assist with reintegrating the exonerated. Deskovic is an exoneree himself, having spent 16 years in prison for a rape and murder he did not commit. He was exonerated in 2006 at the age of 32 through further DNA testing. Since his release Mr. Deskovic has given hundreds of print, radio, and TV interviews, authored more than 200 articles, and delivered more than 100 presentations across the country.
