Nassir Ghaemi is professor of psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine, director of the Tufts Medical Center Mood Disorders Program, and clinical lecturer in Harvard Medical School. He is the author of the bestseller, A First-Rate Madness (Penguin Press, 2011), and numerous other academic books and many scientific articles. His most recent book is On Depression: Drugs, Diagnosis, and Despair in the Modern World (Johns Hopkins Press, 2013).
