About Rebecca Fishman Lipsey
Rebecca Fishman Lipsey is CEO of Radical Partners, a social-impact accelerator that grows nonprofit and social change ventures, and founder of the Executive Director Bootcamp, an 5-session intensive professional development for leaders of social impact organizations. In 2013 she was appointed by the Governor of Florida to sit on the State Board of Education. She has been named "20 Under 40" by The Miami Herald, "Best Role Model" by Miami Today Magazine, and "Best Nonprofit Executive" by the International Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Prior to launching Radical Partners, Rebecca was Executive Director of Teach For America in Miami, where she tripled the size of the organization. Rebecca began her career as a 4th grade teacher in Harlem, New York, and she is endlessly proud of her students, who are now sophomores in college. Rebecca has a Masters in Education from Bank Street College of Education, and was the valedictory speaker for her class at the University of Pennsylvania. She's a mother of two, a closet musician, and a lover of horrendous movies.
