What would you say into the megaphone?
Improv Everywhere, a comedy / flash mob group, has setup another one of their experiments. While this one doesn’t involve 200 people freezing in Grand Central Station, twin mirroring in subways, or their “No Pants” day, but just like their other work in the past, this one did get people talking.
According to the YouTube video’s description:
For our latest mission we constructed a custom wooden lectern with a megaphone holster and an attached sign that read, “Say Something Nice.” The lectern was placed in public spaces around New York and then left alone. We wanted to see what would happen if New Yorkers were given the opportunity to amplify their voices to “say something nice.” This project was produced by Improv Everywhere as part of the Guggenheim Museum exhibition stillspotting nyc.
Watch for yourself to see what people said.

We need more stuff like this out there, just so we all remember that the bad we see in the news everyday is a few of us acting badly and that most people are good and decent.
