Watch: This is What Happens When You Watch the Cinema

Cinema is next to godliness?

“What’s that,” you say? Think that movies are just entertainment? Jason Silva tells us about how cinema changes our minds, our worlds, and expands our understanding of the universe. Cinema is all about immersing you and letting you enter the world it presents.

We’ve always known movies and television have power, but Silva posits in this six minute video that that cinema is next to godliness and explains how cinema exposes the very best part about humanity. It’s fascinating!

Movies are joke anyways. The same people keep making movies. The real geniuses never get a chance to because of money issues. Video games are far better anyways for they allow you to control the situation rather than spectate it. Be on the look out for augmented reality.
