Children remind us of the most profound, yet simple skills we need to implement…in fatherhood and in business.
It ain’t easy. At all.
4. Legacy Thinking. It’s not something I’d planned for, but when your 4-year old announces, “I wanna be a Hard Closer,” you consider the chance your kids will one day take over the family business. I’m building a legacy. One I can hand off to my sons, which would allow them to skip college if they want to. I’m also saving money for their futures. Before they came into my life, I lived like what I left behind didn’t matter. Now I know I need to take care of them even after I’m gone, so I run my shop accordingly.
