I wish there was something I could do to take away your pain. I believe that many people who read accounts such as yours are absolutely appalled by what happened to you, but they don’t know what to say. The Catholic priest was evil. I’m straight, but decades ago I met a gay guy during my senior year in high school who became a friend of mine. He was one of the most empathetic, intelligent, decent persons I’ve ever met. In fact, I looked up to him.
He passed away years ago. I still miss him.
I wish the best for you.
