Single men who want to be fathers can provide a loving home on their own.

Not surprising in the least. Men are finally starting to realize you don’t need a woman to be a father.
With the current divorce rates and the likelihood of a man being taken to the cleaners if he is divorced this seems a much safer albeit more difficult route to fatherhood. I know plenty of guys who want to be fathers but can’t find a suitable partner either through lack of availability of decent (I don’t mean looks, I mean character) or simply not trusting of women for the aforementioned reasons.
The negative portrayal of men as fathers by the media hasn’t helped matters. Many men are perfectly willing and able to give a child a good home and they don’t need a woman in their life to do it. A single man is just as capable of providing a loving home as married couple marriage doesn’t translate to good parenting skills. A single parent loving home is better than a life in the “wonderful” foster care or social services systems.
I truly hope more men will take to adoption as plenty of kids need a good loving home and to also break down the myth that man can’t care for children without a woman involved.
