Arriving in comics shops today is Charismagic #3 from Aspen Comics. Created and written by Aspen Editor in Chief Vince Hernandez, Charismagic tells the story of Hank Medley, a Las Vegas stage magician, who finds himself in the unfortunate position of being caught in a war of real magic. The series is in its early stages but is already garnering some critical acclaim.
This is due in no small part to the fantastic artwork of Khary Randolph.
The Comic Archive recently did a series of video interviews with Randolph where he discussed his work, his journeys in the worlds of comics and animation, and his current projects.
The clip below features Khary discussing his process in creating the art for Charismagic.
Interesting stuff, huh?
Look for more of interview clips with Khary Randolph on Komplicated in upcoming weeks.
In the meantime, you can hit up your local comics shop for a copy of Charismagic #3 to check out a new mythology in the making and the magical work of Khary Randolph.
