For a short time, this lepidopteral jewel will grace the ecology. After three days of magnificence, the adult form will have fulfilled its allotted role.
After mating and passing on the germ of life, it will rest, fade and pass back into the greater ecology.
Here all things have their span; a time to live and a time to die.
It is a part of the great wheel of life.
