The “one drop rule” …. if it weren’t for that ridiculous rule, our president would be no more black then white. The rule appears to be okay for some situations.
Although my daughter is olive skinned, my son clearly takes on his mothers skin tone. Unless I’ve been oblivious for 29 years of his life, my wife and I have never experienced negative attitudes.
I really enjoyed this article! Especially the “you never know who is in a mixed race relationship”…. However, I do kind of have to put my (very white) thoughts on the “mixed babies are cute” thing. Aside from the phrase “mixed babies” being absolutely disgusting, why can’t people just find the mixing of cultures and features that isnt always common cute? All babies are cute.
