In a recap of our week’s dad conversation, editor Rob Watson highlights the things that were on the minds of our fathers. They covered an incredible spectrum of the introspections, the soul and the hearts of dads everywhere.

It was a week our dads thought long and hard about their kids. They told us about the teen ones, the gamer ones, the rebellious, the happy, and the travelers.
They examined stay-at-home dads from their insecurities, their sadness to the ones that cook. We learned why we don’t refer to them as “Mr. Mom.”
Our dads shared about family struggles from overcoming divorce, knowing what they want to be for their kids, regrets over what they had told them, and regrets over things they had done.
Our dads covered topics from picky eater frustrations, to examining myths of what they should be, how they dealt with stress, with or without daycare, tapping their strengths and dealing with their weaknesses.
We had gay dads on how their families formed and how they wanted their weddings to be regarded by those around them.
Dads confessed they weren’t cool and they at times, made stuff up.
All in all, their voices gave away all that they truly ARE: which is awesome.
