One of my favourite quotes of all time come from Aristotle. “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”

It is no secret that if you want to be successful, you need to be consistent. The easiest way to ensure that you do the right thing at the right time is to tweak your daily habits.
If you are not doing any of the below then do not try implementing them all at the same time. Start somewhere. For more on establishing and sticking to a new habit, click here. Hi,
I have cultivated the habits of getting up early, playing a sport in the morning, eating well and I can see changes in me with these habits. I need to work other habits that you mentioned.
Thanks.
It is a simple process, the only thing I was lacking is the exercise, which is pretty big one. Today I walked to and from work for the first time in 15 years! After almost 4 weeks in Europe, walking an average of 7 miles day, often times up hills, I realized I do have the stamina. Having a heart condition, I’ve been concerned about my limits. But after walking the hills of the dolomites in Italy, I found that it got easier daily. We ate like crazy but lost weight …. go figure.
Hi Erik,
Amazingly simple when you put it that way! Waking up early is such a simple no brainer that it can be overlooked – but I took it one step further and completely removed alcohol from my life – it was keeping up late and making me sleep longer in the mornings.
And meditating as a way to alleviate stress and anxiety build up also works.
It’s the simple things that work.
Thanks,
Bren
