Daily Mo Update
Didn’t think it’d happen, but I think this thing is growing on me…ba dumst…
Movember Awareness
“In order to succeed, we must first believe that we can.” – Nikos Kazantzakis. Ever since we were young, we’ve been taught the power of confidence, reassurance, and determination through stories like Thomas the train engine. The advice is well known and even praised by those who have seen great success in their lives. When we concentrate on failure we essentially set our sight on it, and no matter how hard we try to avoid it, it’s like a tractor beam. The same fact is true in gymnastics. If you’re doing a front flip and you stare at the ground while you’re doing it, your body will naturally stifle the height you need to complete a full flip. You’ll fall to the ground even quicker than you expected. That’s why I think this simple quote is so crucial to remember for those of you who struggle with any sort of mental issue. It may sound lame, especially if you’re a man, but having a positive perspective in the face of adversity is what will you get you through tough times. Allow yourself to be better. Believe in your capabilities.

Daily Mo Update
Today was our bigger friendsgiving. I spent the morning making a casserole and debating trimming my face. It’s looking alright, but I’m never happy with it. Today is a down day. It started off fine, but throughout the day, even being surrounded by a couple dozen friendly faces and celebrating us all coming together in the spirit of friendship— I had a difficult time swallowing my darkness.
Movember Awareness
Today is a down day. It started off fine, but throughout the day, even being surrounded by a couple dozen friendly faces and celebrating us all coming together in the spirit of friendship— I had a difficult time swallowing my darkness. I know it’s this worthless feeling that haunts me from what happened with my last relationship, and I know I can’t let it beat me; but, it’s difficult. Even when I should be happy, or at the very least content, I can’t be.
Everyone has tough days., but never forget that even when you are down— even when nothing makes you feel better, remember that time will. This too, shall pass.
