Great article. My family dealt with the same issues. We have had many fights and disagreements over the years. My mother is white my father is black, there are 3 girls and we adopted a bi-racial boy so there are 4 of us kids. We also are a Jewish, Christian family but we did not practice religion faithfully. As a child I asked questions like, “Why is daddy black and you are white?” The best thing my parents did was always tell us the truth.
