When an Afghanistan war veteran and quadruple amputee twists his prosthetic knee in an airport, help comes from an unexpected source – an airline mechanic.
When Taylor Morris fell and twisted his knee, it wouldn’t have been a big deal…except that he and his fianceé were in Las Vegas’ McCarran Airport, and his tools were in his checked luggage. While it was difficult to get around, they went in search of the correct wrench. But help found them instead. American Airlines Lead Mechanic Keith Duffner usually helps people with scissors and luggage. This time, he helped Taylor loosen screws, disassemble the leg, and put it back together. It only took a few minutes, but it was a small good deed that made a big difference to these two men. Thank you for your service. Both of you.
