Do you still open car doors, walk on the street side of the sidewalk, carry her over puddles? Or is that just stereotypical behavior that we should get rid of?

How would you re-define chivalry? What does chivalry mean to you and why is it important? Does being chivalrous define your masculinity? Is there a way to think about it differently.

Could you do a Google search for “chivalry” for me, then reconsider this article? Thanks. <3
I held the door open for the person behind me (their gender unknown) as an act of kindness. It was a female and she lit into me. I will never hold the door for anyone ever again.
To be clear, I wasn’t being sexist, or a jerk. It was a simple act of kindness/ good manners and some female lit into me like I was Hitler. I will never do an act of kindness for a female again. I don’t need the hassle.
Females apparently don’t want kindness….Ok you win.
I love that you held the door open as an act of kindness, but please don’t let the actions of one female who lit into you cause you to now generalize the feelings of all females.
Of course, especially for the cute ones.
