Spring may be just around the corner, but Boston is only two inches shy of setting a record.
___
Editor’s Note: Bostonians may feel like the winter of 2014-2015 is the snowiest in history, and February was Beantown’s snowiest month ever, coming in at 64.8 inches. But the winter of 1995-1996, which topped out at 107.6 inches or just under nine feet of snow, has this one beat by 1.9 inches. Our graphic conversationalist, Judy Clement Wall, has memorialized Boston’s near-record pile-up in this week’s offering of “The Visual Conversation.” We encourage readers to build on “The Visual Conversation” and create an actual conversation in the comments. Below are the snowfall figures for Boston from weather.com.
