All my children’s cars are registered in my name. Just yesterday I texted a picture of yet another unpaid ticket that came to my name at my house (because my car) to my two 20-something! sons with the following comment:
“Someday my name will be in the news and the first thing that will happen is that someone will reveal that I have hundreds of unpaid parking tickets. Who’s is this one this time?”
I like the idea of thinking of them with children of their own. That seems like good revenge. But for the sake of their yet-to-be-born children it needs to be many, many years from now.

It’s one thing where you put the cars in your name when they are teens but to leave them that way when they’re in their 20’s? That’s crazy. My kids didn’t get their licence until they were 18 and 1.) Paid for their car(used). 2. Could pay for their own insurance. They need to be accountable for their actions. Something as simple as parking violations should not be occurring at all.
