Can there be a more basic, sensorial and human experience than simply removing ones shoes and walking barefoot over the earth….
Each step is a meditation and a conversation with this native soil.
As the sensation deepens, one becomes aware of a reciprocity in this relationship. Almost with a shock of ancient primal recognition, there is a realisation that the Earth is reaching out to touch the foot and not the other way around.
We recognise in this moment the sheer aliveness of animate nature.
This is a two way conversation…..
