It is a truth universally acknowledged that a feminist in possession of respect for women must spoil everything.
In response to the rising popularity of “anti-feminists” who take to social media to express why they “don’t need feminism”, some feminists have created a Tumblr that actually attempts to spoil everything. If you feel so inclined, check out Women Against Feminism to see what I’m talking about, then head over to Feminists Spoil Everything.
After Jon Snow, some of the best spoilers. This the spoiler alert to end all spoiler alerts. You’ve been warned.
Here’s Jon Snow knowing nothing:
Editor’s Note: Attempting to spoil everything is a herculean undertaking. The only greater feat could be explaining the ending of Battlestar Galactica.
Head over to Feminists Spoil Everything to see the rest and submit your own. Keep checking the blog, because more feminists spoiling everything are being added every day.
I think generations of women built a good thing out of Feminism. It was the leading reason why women gained the rights they have now. Men were not going to hand over those rights without women fighting for them. I don’t think Feminism has been perfect though. Which is why I choose to define what equality looks like to me. I agree with the core message of Feminism while I may not agree with everything, every Feminist says. While I see no issue in a woman who doesn’t want to identify as a Feminist, I don’t get going so far… Read more »

Like to add…. Afterthe kids were grown and out of the house, my wife went back into the business world. She ordered her name plate for her office door which read “Mrs.” Her direct report, a women said she couldn’t put it up and had to get another one that said “Ms.” stating that some may find “Mrs.” offensive. Say what? At that time we’d been married for more then 20 years. She protested and went to the director. Needless to say the name plate remained “Mrs.” Same female boss referred to my wife as “”Latina.” As my wife elegantly… Read more »
Tom, I would like to better understand your wife’s perspective. What was offensive to her about being referred to “Latina”. I’m American but my history is of a Polish, irish (and a bunch of other stuff) decent. I’m kind of proud to say I’m Polish and Irish. That isn’t to say your wife needs to think the same as me. I’m just trying to understand why it was offensive to her. Also, I would agree that there are many women who look down on other women who are stay-at-home wives and moms. But there are also a lot of men… Read more »
“…..looking down on housewives or mothers” My wife was a stay at home mom and consistently experienced this.
Feminism is the idea that women are people, as in, individuals. We really need people to fully realize that. But people who call themselves feminists very often impose other women their idea of what is empowering and what is not, who and what to be afraid of, when to feel embarrassed or proud. With campaigns against pornography, looking down on housewives or mothers, they can feel like the ultimate white knight!
In more than one ways, people who call themselves feminists deny our individuality while simultaneously using it as their rallying cry.
What a childish reaction to a very serious topic.
Jatc … how was it “childish?”
It is childish because instead of taking what these ‘anti-feminists’ are saying as something to consider these ‘ruining everything feminists’ are making a mockery of them and making fun of them.
Tom, the childish comment was to the ‘ruining everything thing feminists’ not to you
From Cathy Young, writing in TIME, covering the trending hashtag #WomenAgainstFeminism: “The charge that feminism stereotypes men as predators while reducing women to helpless victims certainly doesn’t apply to all feminists—but it’s a reasonably fair description of a large, influential, highly visible segment of modern feminism.” http://time.com/3028827/women-against-feminism-gets-it-right/ >>> She’s right, of course. #NotAllFeminists have spoiled feminism. But enough of them have. That’s why, after 50 years, the vast majority of BOTH men and women in America refuse to identify themselves as FEMINISTS, even as they (BOTH men and women) support equal rights and equal opportunities for all. Never mind waving… Read more »
Randy, well stated and accurate.
“femsplaining” are you serious
Tell me what that word means. Use complete sentences.
Plenty of them do enough to spoil serious issues for men, let alone tv shows, whilst the decent ones remain largely quiet. 😉
Dude. Are you even real?
