In divorce, nothing else matters but what’s in the best interest of your child. Nothing.
As a child of divorce, I was determined that when I married, I would stay married. I thought I found the right partner; I thought I would be safe. I was not. I now find myself struggling to work through a painful divorce made more so by unfortunate issues that are harming my kids. And, I see the potential for patterns repeating. But, I won’t do it. I won’t engage. Whatever is in my power to change, I will change it. My role, what I bring to the table, I will be their rock. I want my sons to feel loved and worthy and cared for, because I don’t want to see one of my son’s make a video like this. Ever.

She ghosted me, and she is making a power play for her married boyfriend’s kids. Her role modeling for my children just sickens me; however, it is my anger that hurts my kids more than their mom’s actions. I wish I could move… Read more »
