Dillan DiGiovanni thinks it takes a strong man to dance like this in stiletto heels.
Dancing of any kind is a demanding endeavor and a great full-body workout.
How about dancing intense choreography like this for 2+ minutes in stiletto heels? I’m in total and complete awe.
At first glance, many people would say this is some kind of joke or something to mock. Three men in spike heels, one wearing a skirt? But I loved every minute of it! I posted it on my Facebook wall and within minutes it got multiple shares and likes by women and men, alike.
I think anyone can appreciate the strength, endurance and mastery of the craft these men express with this dynamic and FABULOUS routine. I think the heels take nothing from the performance, dance is artistic expression after all. The music montage is all Beyonce, so why not wear costumes celebrating her own demonstration of athleticism and grace? Have you seen the Single Ladies video? Damn.
I think dancing in those heels only added to my respect for them. I don’t know many people who could manage it. YOU GO, BOYS!!!
As the parent of a gender-fluid teen I absolutely LOVE the mix of what is traditionally considered both masculine and feminine here. Who says you can’t sport a beard and dance in heels? Way to shake up the gender spectrum. These are some sexy and incredibly talented men!
I know a lot of women who wouldn’t wear those shoes. BUT I have to say, as a “leg” man, these guys have some GREAT legs. Too bad they don’t have the matching package.
But they do – for someone – just not for you.
ah-ha, Helen! well-said. 🙂
yes, Tom, they certainly do!!! good for you for appreciating that. A ton of work went into their athleticism and that choreography. 🙂
Before or after you break your ankle?
seriously! those are some fierce-looking heels! and they never miss a step!
No, and I’m going to use this comment to promote something socially responsible that’s related to the question being asked. Check out this initiative at http://walkamileinhershoes.org/
great link, Kenneth. Thanks for sharing it! And I find it helpful to remind myself that sexual violence is experienced by all persons, not just women.
