A Henry Rollins experience is not for the faint of heart. If you happen to go to one of his spoken word shows, get ready for three hours of having your ears and brain ripped apart by his stream of story-telling, social and political commentary, and observational humor, sometimes all in the same sentence. Spend another couple of hours at his aftershow meet-and-greet, which is a fancy name for an extension of the show outside by his trailer, and you’ll be sleepless, mildly buzzed, and wondering what the hell just happened. And you’ll be jonesing for the next go.
One of the more surprising things you’ll hear is him talking, with his usual intensity, about gay rights, marriage equality, and the people who don’t want this to happen. As you’d expect, this had led to years of speculation about “is he or isn’t he?”.
By his own words, he is not. But by his own words and actions, this doesn’t mean he can’t passionately advocate for equality for people who are.

How about you read up on the statistics of all the children murdered, abused (physically, sexually, or emotionally), or abandoned by their opposite sex parents? What does that prove? That the children of heterosexuals are hurting and as such, heterosexuals shouldn’t be allowed to raise kids? How about reading the countless stories of kids raised by gay parents who DON’T have any problem with it and are happy?
