As men, women, parents, and compassionate and understanding humans, how would you protect her when it comes to the “bathroom debate”?

North Carolina legislation that prohibits transgender people from using bathrooms that reflect their gender identity has sparked outrage and protest, the latest being an image of a transgender child, Corey Maison, photographed by Meg Bitton.
The viral post is here:
“[I]t embarrasses me that I actually live in the same universe as some of those people,” Bitton told the Daily Dot, “however, the support far exceeds the negativity. The haters always shout the loudest. Trolls.”
The child, Bitton said, “Corey Maison is transgender. She was born with male anatomy but identifies as a female. Under the new laws, SHE would be forced to use the men’s room. Therefore, I would not be comfortable sending HER into the men’s room if she was my daughter.”
This photo was taken last year, but was shared again in response to North Carolina’s House Bill 2.

If this were my child he wouldn’t be wearing make up. Those kind of decisions are for adults, not children. And he wouldn’t be in the media to get me famous either.
Well pwrsonally, she looking like that I would give a flying finger to the state. I would NOT have her walk into a men’s room. She’s a 16 year old girl. I’m sure I’ve been in the men’s room before with a trans man. You know what? I don’t care!
