A little advice on love.
From a business coach.

“Love is passion, obsession, someone you can’t live without. If you don’t start with that, what are you going to end up with? Fall head over heels. I say, find someone you can love like crazy and who’ll love you the same way back. And how do you find him? Forget your head and listen to your heart. Run the risk, if you get hurt, you’ll come back. Because, the truth is, there is no sense living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love, well, you haven’t lived a life at all. You have to try. Because if you haven’t tried, you haven’t lived.” ~Meet Joe Black
If you have to wonder if you’re head over heels in love, you probably aren’t.
It doesn’t take everyone the same way. Some people get tingly, dizzy, exhilaratingly animated. Some people go moon-eyed, dreamy, and unabashedly swoony. And some go steely focused, one-trick-ponyish, single-mindedly pursing the “one.” But they know. Heads have toppled over heels and their heart is rolling over hill and dale.
Now I’m no expert on romance, although I’ve had a few (no I’m not going to dish.) But I do know this is true for everything else. Like ideas. And careers. And dreams. So I suspect it applies to people too.
Head over heels, whether you’re the tingly type, the dreamy type, or the focused type, doesn’t allow room to be the “maybe-maybe not” type. This kind of love keeps at you, like a ruthless herding dog, nipping at your calves when you veer from the path of your desire. This kind of love occupies your thoughts like a relentless invader and assaults the doors of your mind like a battering ram. This kind of love whispers sweet seduction in your sleep and flits around the corners of your everyday routine like an elusive wood nymph.
This kind of love isn’t interested in “no.”
Why don’t more people fall head over heels? In love with a sweetheart, in love with their ideas, their careers, their dreams? Because most people aren’t brave enough to forget their head and listen to their heart. Most people don’t dare run the risk and let themselves get hurt. Most people aren’t head of heels in love with life.
And if you can’t fall head over heels in love with life, you haven’t lived a life at all.
