While money doesn’t automatically follow love, doing something you can put your heart into makes work easier on your mind and body.

“If your heart isn’t 100 percent in it, it is 100 percent harder. No matter what it is.” ~ from Just Blow It Up: Firepower for Living an Unlimited Life
Ignore all the out-of-context quotes about “do what you love and the money will follow” or “success comes from following your heart.” If you read the books and articles for the full context you aren’t likely to find anyone telling you that loving what you do, or following your heart are the ONLY requirements for financial or life success.
Success of any kind requires a vision, a plan, and a lot of hard work.
Doing what you love is what makes the hard work easier, following your heart is what makes the mountains scalable, putting your heart into whatever it is makes the load lighter and the road smoother.
So why don’t more people do something they can put their heart into?
We’re conditioned to believe that work is SUPPOSED to be hard. The harder it is the more it’s worth. We justify our salaries and fees by pointing to the effort we pour into the work.
And then there’s the risk. Putting your heart 100 percent into your work means putting your heart at risk 100 percent, right? No. That’s conditioning too. For someone who knows how to put their heart into their work the world will always be full of opportunities. Love is unlimited, and once you’ve learned to bring love into what you do for a living your living becomes unlimited too.
