Do male pole dancers point a metaphorical finger in the direction of mature masculinity?

Categorize these descriptive words how you want. But after watching some accomplished male pole dancers, I am going to categorize those words as masculinity. A masculinity that recognizes these descriptions as inclusive of much more than the physical body. A recognition that extends out to social interactions and responsibility.
The motion of the man on the pole moves naturally, confidently, and aware. We see an expression of masculinity where physics cooperates with physicality, where the external cooperates with the internal, where the individual can be balanced between the self and the society.
The dance stops being a disciplined physical art and becomes a guide for navigating our conflicted world.
Maybe that’s just me, a crazy dreamer who sees the beauty of the dance as symbolic of life. A guy who sees the male pole dancer as an inspiring metaphor for the mature masculinity we are achieving.
