Love is everywhere. Here’s what is sounds like.
We’re a global culture. It’s not hard to connect with someone anywhere in the world. And while you may not see it on the 24/7 news cycle, the sentiment is universal.
Someone, somewhere, right now, loves someone. In a city, in the suburbs, in a war zone, on a plane, trapped in the middle of a devastating illness, standing on the side of a mountain, shopping in a polished mall, standing in a food line, listening to the radio, in a traffic jam, cooking over an open fire, dancing at a wedding, mourning the loss of another young man, waiting for ship to come in, watching TV in a crowded pub.
Two men, two women, one of each, two guys and a girl, two people who don’t pick a letter, four queer folk raising a family, a single dad who just met the woman he hopes will love his kids, too.
Listen to what they are saying. This is what I love you sounds like around the world. Think about this the next time you see or hear a message of hate.
Because love is everywhere, too.
How do you say “I Love You”?
