A generation of minority youngsters is suffering unjust criminalization as a result of the obscene practice of “Stop and Frisk.”
—
Criminalization of young people, who are being stopped and frisked in New York City results in “chaotic and devastating consequences.” Each day, 140 people are stopped and frisked for drugs on the street, 85 percent descending from African or Latino/a roots, while a majority of white users go free. “A crime for some folks. But not a crime for others.” Whatever it is, a damn shame.
