As he seeks to become Commander in Chief, Ted Cruz goes on record telling falsehoods about LGBT people serving in the military.
—
Above is a recorded conference call with E.W Jackson, former GOP nominee for lieutenant governor of Virginia, from YouTube . On it,Cruz defamed LGBT people who are now openly serving in the military.
Jackson states, ‘the military is beset with these new LGBT rules and I’m just hearing terrible things.’
Cruz elaborates, ‘You look at the military and one of the things we’ve seen is morale in the military under the Obama administration has plummeted, and it has plummeted because you have a commander-in-chief that doesn’t support our soldiers and sailors and airmen and marines, you have a commander-in-chief that doesn’t stand up against our enemies, that won’t even acknowledge or say the words ‘radical Islamic terrorism’ and you have a commander-in-chief that treats the military as a cauldron for social experimentation.
‘He’s more interested in promoting homosexuality in the military than he is in defeating our enemy.
‘For example, the military is now focused on trying to promote transgendered [sic] soldiers.
‘The role of the military is not to be some left-wing social experiment.
This is a lie, of course. The official military study states: the repeal of DADT had had, ‘no overall negative impact on military readiness or its component dimensions, including cohesion, recruitment, retention, assaults, harassment, or morale. If anything, DADT repeal appears to have enhanced the military’s ability to pursue its mission.’

Actually it has affected the military, but people are too afraid to speak up without feeling a backlash. I’m serving in the Navy and there has been 6 harrassment charges that have gone unnoticed because many people do not wish to look like a weakling being attacked. By the way, I am one of the victims of the harrassment and it was a female who would not stop harrassing me.
With the leveling of the playing field where the military has pretty much made it possible for any gender or gender configuration (not mean to be an insult, simply don’t know another term to use), what’s the view of potential mandatory sign up for selective service for everyone? back in the 60’s+, if a person was gay, he was able to opt out of the draft … those exclusions no longer apply. Whether a body builder or drag queen, they must sign up.
I don’t see defamation. Mr. Cruz did not say LGBT people are degrading the mission, he said President Obama’s priorities for the military were more focused on social engineering than they were on helping the military perform its duties. A charge I agree with.
I believe LGBT people should be able to serve and that DADT should have been repealed. I also believe that President Obama has made an utter mess out of our military’s morale and mission effectiveness.
Don’t you have more scandalous clips showing multiple takes for commercials to show us?
