As we get ready to celebrate Independence Day, we want to know what does independence look like to you as you transition from high school to college and beyond.

We’re talking about independence on The Good Men Project and we want to hear from 2015 high school or college graduates. You’re embarking on the chapter of your life and maybe you have it all figured out or are still trying to decide what’s next for you.
Are you going away for college and this will be your first time away from home? Have you accepted a job after college that requires you to relocate? Are you taking some time after high school to do volunteer work or travel? Are you going to go home and live with your family until you figure it out?
We want your stories on your anticipation or fear of independence. What expectations do you have about having more freedom? Are your parents concerned about the decisions you will make? Tell us in 500 words or more what independence means to you.
