Okay so maybe the man’s language isn’t the gentlest, but you might be a bit NSFW, too, if an owl was looking at you like you just ate the last weasel in the field… And yeah, so the owl’s fury is quiet… but sometimes quiet fury is the scariest fury of all.
You just gotta admire the love and terror with which this man gently escorts a wayward owl out of his home with nothing more than a swiffer. It’s impossible not to love it.
As Colton Wright wrote on his YouTube, where you can also watch Part 1, “After 40 minutes of hysterics, it did none of us any good. We finally compromised and I was able to get him (or her) out with a swiffer”… thereby dubbing himself “The Owl Whisperer – Swifferer?”
Owls are so beautiful. That guy did a great job.
This reminded me of the time a bat flew into our house growing up. My Dad threw a towel over it and took it out with his bare hands. As a little girl, I thought my Dad was awesome for being so calm, cool and collected and out smarting the bat with such ease and calmness. I hid in the downstairs bathroom with a ski cap over my head.
