Looking to buy a brand-new car? Help is at hand. The experts at Parkers, the new and used cars review website, have put together a useful interactive resource detailing exactly how to go about
purchasing a new vehicle. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or an old hand, we’re sure you’ll
find it handy.
The resource covers the 3 stages of car buying:
- viewing a car in a showroom,
- going for a test drive,
- and doing the deal.
Walk through the showroom, take your car for a spin and shake hands with the dealer on a deal well done!
With advice from Parkers experts, this interactive resource is designed to guide you through all the key stages of buying a car. At the end, you can download a PDF of the car-buying checklist too.

I learned a lot. I am planning to buy a new car soon.
I like this guide to buying a car, but I think the most important process in buying a car happens before you step into the showroom. If you want to make the car buying process easy on you, then you need to do the proper research on the cars you want to see. If you know what you want, always have a few options, then it takes a lot of the stress out of meeting with the dealer.
Thanks for sharing this little tidbit! I’m going to be moving out to college this fall, so I want to buy a car so I can get around. This is my first time purchasing something this big, so I’m trying to get all the advice I can. I’ll definitely take your suggestion to heart, and I’ll make sure to do a lot of research before I even step into a showroom so I have an idea of what my options are and what I want.
