When the hot summer wind blows around these trees, one can sense the whole ecology move.

These gnarled oaks are attached to everything around them and so on throughout the forest here.
Moving closer within this magnificently alive nexus, I see a growing animal nature to the essential being of the trees, as well as tuning in to the great web of life which they oversee.
Sitting down, one begins to sense a pulsating aliveness in the air and under the rich brown forest earth.
Suddenly, another gust and the trees excitedly talk with each other, their branches moving in a wild sylvan dance.
This is another of natures great animate conversations and one in which we are ceaselessly invited to join.
