Many ‘beautiful’ people have battled through ugly pasts. In this video, you’ll see their testimonies.
We’ve seen a lot of anti-bullying videos and suicide awareness PSAs, but we’ve never seen one sponsored by a modeling agency.
Model Camp Australia CEO Yasmin Walter composed this touching video as a dedication to her students who had previously endured bullying, low self-esteem and even suicide attempts.
The fact that they overcame such adversity and grew into self-accepting, successful and inspiring models really proves that #YouCantBreakMe.
The video does a beautiful job of creating awareness about bullying, suicide and human resilience.
An especially powerful and resonating image is of Walter’s friend and victim of extreme bullying, Dana Vulin, who was burnt alive but continues to proudly live her life everyday. She reminds us that we need to work to end bullying, prevent suicide and extend our kindness to those who need it most.
But above all, the message is clear:
“You are not alone and you cannot break a brilliant person.”
Check out the inspiring video and let us know how you rise above your breaking point.
