First wish. First parade. First time he proposed in front of over 200,000 people.
A lot of guys opt for a romantic restaurant, maybe a picnic, maybe a special place. One guy picked Home Depot. Dwayne proposed to Jonathan during a Gay Pride parade in San Diego. It was a huge event that year, the first in which service members were allowed to march in uniform. Surrounded by fellow sailors, Dwayne got down on one knee, and Jonathan said yes.
But that’s just a tiny piece of the story. A mad dash for a ring, a wish in a coin fountain coming true, a father in full-dress uniform delivering a blessing to their union, and a celebration of joy. Their wedding video is made of love.
