We asked Belo Cipriani, freelance writer, speaker, and author of Blind, A Memoir this question:
What does it mean to be a good man in the 21st century?
Belo’s answer is inspiring:
Our fast paced world makes us all a bit impatient from time to time. This leads to the inability to keep or maintain hope. I believe that a good man is one who is able to create hope for himself on a daily basis—despite modern inconveniences. What makes this a challenging task is that creating hope varies from one person to the next. How I create hope for myself is through teaching, playing with my guide dog Madge, and writing. I invite all men to make time to practice the things they love to do not the things they believe society wants them to do. In creating hope for yourself one can achieve amore rewarding level of awareness which others will notice and enjoy having around.
