Jamie Reidy shares a list – and pictures – of 39 celebrity bikinis.
With Memorial Day weekend kicking off sumer, I thought Good Feed Blog readers might want to know what instyle.com says are going to be the hot looks on the beaches in the next few months.
Somehow, Kate Upton’s red bikini from this video did not make the list. I demand a recount!
Here’s my overriding thought after clicking through those photos: I wanna buy each one of these ladies a double-cheesburger combo.
Not surprisingly, I like the Kim Kardashian pic, I mean, swimsuit the best. However, she faced stiff competition from Lea Michelle; I might need to start watching “Glee”…
Who was your favorite?
She even goes so far to say that if Castle were to ever have an all-Spanish episode, she’d love to pull off some
Flamenco dance moves, amongst others. The 33-year-old singer heated the world by her attractive voice at FIFA World
Cup 2010 with her rock-hard abs performance “Waka Waka”, and this time is for Teen Choice Awards.
It is also a way for shoppers to stock up on hardto find D-Cup bikinis, DD-Cup
Swimwear, DDD-Cupswimsuits and E-Cup bikinis as well as beachaccessories including cover-ups,
sandals and sexy dresses for resortwear.
No cries of objectification here, TWO, but I was sort of surprised to see that this “article” was primarily a link to instyle.com. The latest fashions for women are not the usual topic of conversation here! Ha!
a double cheeseburger is not enough for these women to fill out. minus the Kardashian women, there is not a single reason why all these women (young and old) should look so pre pubescent. some of them, i’m sure it actually is their natural body type to be so thin (some skeletal), and others i know are just in good shape – but these photos are actually disturbing to me. for the array of industries these women work in and the span of ages amongst the group, it feels like we are being taught to worship this thin thin look… Read more »
Vanessa Hudgens looks adorable!
And what about The Menz? This is my equal opportunity list: (1) William Levy, (2) Gilles Marini, (3) Viggo Mortensen, and (4) Michael Fassbender….oh, okay, of course (5) Matthew McConnaughey!!!
Leia, I would totally do a hot guys in swim trunks list with you!
You’re on! “Men that I love in Swim Trunks …or Tuxedos”!
Hmm… I may have to email you about this.
Kim K is closest to Mrs. Eric M., if that tells you anything about my taste.
Other than Kim, Kourtney, Scarlett, Stephanie Seymore, and (to a lesser extent) Rihanna, IMO, they all need a month or two of good, healthy, but high calorie meals.
I think Rihanna looks best of all of them. But (as a woman) I’m looking at her whole style and whatnot.
I’m laughing at the idea that they all need healthy meals. Love you and Jamie for that.
Rihanna’s blue bikini looks awesome, or am I meant to be checking them out?:P
The comments on their weight though aren’t appreciated at all, why do people insist on projecting what they feel is a healthy weight? So what if they are thin, it’s up to them and their doctor to determine what is best for them.
I don’t disagree… Healthy is healthy. I’m healthy and look more like the skinny girls, but I think the reaction is more about the fact that we see too many unhealthfully thin women on TV and that does injure women in the long run.
Similar to the guys who are idealized, but have bodies you can only get by eating almost nothing and taking muscle-building supplements (or worse).
But how do we know they are uneahlthily skinny? Their health could be fine for all we know, now if you want to say we see a disproportionate amount of one body type, thin women, I’d agree:P. Problem I have is making judgment on health based on looks in any way, even some of the runway models who look very thin can be healthy. People need to move past this hyperfocus on visual representation of health. I get seen as unhealthy over my weight, basically from the looks alone. How do they know my health? Do they see into my… Read more »
Let me be clear. I wasn’t saying or even implying that the skinnier celebrities weren’t healthy. I just personally prefer the Kim K. figure over the skinnier ones.
My tongue-in-cheek suggestion was for them to pack on some pounds eating healthy meals, rather than unhealthy meals; no one should eat unhealthy meals.
Ahhh….
I can’t wait for the cries of “Objectification” and so forth to come screaming forth. For my part, I’m always happy to indulge in my appreciation of nature’s finest works of art. I know that makes me walking, talking scum of the earth in this day and age, but there’ s no point in denying what I feel and enjoy. If they (and we all know who “they” are) can’t handle it, that’s their problem, not mine.
Thanks for link!
The Wet One
My feeling about these lists is that while it’s technically objectification, I don’t see a huge difference between this and the “Sexiest Man Alive” types of things. I like that no one is talking badly about any of these women’s bodies. I’d rather see this than “The Best and Worst Bikini Bodies” any time!
PS I think the consensus here is that we need more hourglass-shaped women on these lists!
