Loyal Dog Waits TWO DAYS for Owner to Return to Rest Stop

Jamie Reidy comments on the heartwarming tale of a trucker’s lost dog who waited in place for his master to return.

USA Today’s Douglas Stanglin reports on Rambo, the nine-month old Yorkie:

His owner, truck driver Michael Siau, didn’t realize that Rambo had slipped out of his long-haul truck while he was stretching his legs at a rest stop in Hannibal, Mo., the Hannibal Courier-Post reports. Siau got all the way to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, before he noticed that Rambo, whom he thought was asleep in the back, was missing.

Turns out Rambo had sat there and waited for him.

I am so jealous. Sometimes, women I take on dates don’t even wait for me to come out of the bathroom.

GMP readers, what’s the most loyal thing anybody – or pet – has done for you?
