Felix Rodriguez wrote his children’s book Dad, Me, and Muhammad Ali about a dream meeting with the Champ, a personal hero. The book, about growing up fatherless, inspired Ali’s wife, Lonnie, to invite Rodriguez and his son to Kentucky for a book signing, where his dream came true:
“I tell Muhammad about the book, our meeting in 2004, and what an inspiration he was in my life. He couldn’t speak, but he understood everything. He opened his eyes real wide, and he slowly reached out to shake hands.”
At the signing, Rodriguez acknowledged the 25 million fatherless boys and girls—40 percent of all children—growing up in America.

“When I was in a men’s group in 1972, I distinctly remember feeling edgy when we would hug.”
“My son and daughter keep reminding me that things are changing.” The times they are a changin’ (comment and Marco Magnani video cover of Bob Dylan song.)
