Hollywood is mourning a young rising star after the tragic news of his death.
According to Vancouver police, Cory Monteith, the 31-year-old actor who played Finn Hudson on the Fox television hit “Glee,” was found dead in hotel room in the Canadian city on Saturday. Authorities said the cause of death is not “immediately apparent,” but they have ruled out any type of “foul play.”
An autopsy of Monteith to determine cause of death will be conducted by the Vancouver medical examiner on Monday.
Director Adam Shankman, who worked with Monteith for the past three seasons of “Glee” told CNN’s Poppy Harlow that the two had spoken Saturday morning, and that Monteith had said “he wanted to come down to California to Jet Ski.” Shankman also called Monteith the “glue of Glee,” stating that he was a “consummate professional,” that he always knew his lines, was the “first to laugh,” and was a “delight” to work with.
What are some of your favorite Monteith moments from “Glee”?
