This may be the best thing I’ve ever seen.
A great testament to an affectionate, supportive male-male friendship that has lasted many years and probably given these guys a better quality of life.
Also, I didn’t know this Ben Aaron before just now, but I gotta say, the man’s got a bright future.
When the one guy answers the phone during the interview… amazing.
And sometimes I agree that the Adele song has too much tom tom in it!

This video was mildly amusing, but I honestly am not so sure that these guys have been friends for all that long of a time. What indicates that they had been friends prior to becoming residents of the retirement community? Something in the previous report? They couldn’t have gone to school together because of the 3 year age difference. Did they know each other’s wives and children? Work together? They just both have engaging, extroverted personalities, and their mental facilities are hardly diminished, a serious consideration in that type of community when looking for companionship.. I was more interested to hear them say how things had changed, like their defense of face to face conversation and letter writing, than to see them baited with questions about pop trifles. I’m going to guess that there are Rhodes Scholars in their 20s who don’t know who “Snooki” is and would rather listen to Sinatra than Booty whatever.
