The Twitter Makes Me Feel Old

Jamie Reidy attempts to identify what was “trending” on Twitter at 11:46 AM EDT.

#coachellalive – Dunno who Coach Ell is, but I’m glad  people are glad he’s alive

#1DfaveQuote – Not familiar one Dfave quote, let alone several from which I can choose one favorite.  I do have a friend named David Lefevre, @ChefDLefevre, who’s a famous chef.

Beyonce Is A Legend – She must be, since I know who she is.  And I would definitely hit that.  If she wasn’t married, that is.

#TwoThingsThatDontMix – My Dad & Beyonce.  Sergio Garcia & majors.

Piermario Morosini – Can I add “Me & Piermario Morosini” to the above thing?

#grandnational – I’m thinking this is a Nic Cage movie that either came out and I missed it or will be coming out and I will miss it.

Aang – The real spelling of the adopted Korean kid from ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT?

Moesha – That’s so like me to know this one: the lead character from a show on that black channel, like, 15 years ago.

Good Burger – For some reason I wanna smoke the pot all the sudden.  But, 5 Guys is the best burger.

Secret Service – Selflessness personified.

  1. Don’t worry, I’m only 25 and I don’t really use Twitter. I’m even a huge nerd and a bit of a computer nerd, and I still don’t use it. I just couldn’t ever see the point of trying to say something in 140 characters or less. Everything just ends up really garbled. The only thing I use it for is to follow announcements about upcoming tv shows or video games I’m interested in, really.
